Shaping Narratives è una performance di Aziza Gorgi ed Emily Sarsam, artiste con sede a Tunisi e co-fondatrici di Broudou, un collettivo di ricerca artistica che esplora il futuro del cibo in Tunisia.
La performance multisensoriale offre uno sguardo sulla loro ricerca, concentrandosi sulla forme del pane in Tunisia e le narrazioni che esse riproducono. Il loro mondo narrativo si muove attraverso la fantascienza, il canto, la ceramica, il gusto e la coreografia per rivelare cosa le storie indigene, coloniali e contemporanee intorno al pane ci raccontano sulle esperienze di reclusione, espropriazione e alienazione delle terre, dei corpi e delle anime.
Il pubblico è invitato a prendersi del tempo per sintonizzarsi sui propri sensi, ascoltare profondamente, guardare e gustare.

Shaping Narratives is a performance work by Aziza Gorgi and Emily Sarsam, two Tunis-based artists and co-founders of Broudou, an artistic research collective exploring the future of food in Tunisia.

The multisensorial performance is a glimpse into their research on shapes of bread in Tunisia and the narratives they reproduce. They have built a world through science fiction, song, textile, ceramic, taste and choreography to investigate what indigenous, colonial and contemporary shapes of bread tell us about experiences of enclosure, dispossession and the alienation of land, body, and soul.

The audience is invited to take time to tune into their senses. To deeply listen, watch, and taste.
